West Roxbury School of Dance would like to announce that Miss Emily will be receiving an award from the PINCH Foundation. Miss Emily will be receiving the Paul McLaughlin memorial award for her role in the community, demonstrating leadership and for being a role model to the young people in West Roxbury for the past 27 years. The award will be given out on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the West Roxbury ElksLodge. All are welcome to attend and support Miss Emily!
Miss Emily’s West Roxbury School of Dance has been in operation since 1984. We are located in West Roxbury, at 49 Corey Street. We offer classes in Classical Ballet, Lyrical Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Hip-Hop. We specialize in children’s dance classes. Classes run for the full school year from September through May. Children are expected to register in September ( October for morning pre-school classes) and participate for the full school year. Children ages 3 and up are welcome.
- A recital is held in May, for all children’s classes.
- A four week summer session is offered in June, for children age 3 – 5.
- We offer special programs for children age 7 – 13.

- All after school classes begin in September.
- All Saturday classes begin in September.
- Wednesday preschool classes begin in October.
